Getting Started With Our App

Step 1: Creating an Account

Making an account will allow you to access all of the features within our app.

1.  Tap on the person icon in the top right of the homepage
2. Tap on "Log in or sign up"
3. Tap on "Continue with email" (Signing up with email is the preferred method but any of them can be used.)
4. Tap "Create account"
5. Fill out the form
6. Tap "Create account" (You may need to verify your email at this point)

Step 2: Updating Your Info

Filling out the "Update My Info" form will give us all of the information we need from yourself and your family.

1. From the homepage, tap on the "Update My Info" button.
2. Fill out that form for yourself and everyone that you live with. (Only one person per household should do this.)
3. Don't forget to select any contact lists that you want to be a part of.
4. Tap on submit.

Step 3: Turning on Notifications

Turning on and joining notification groups is the best way for you to receive announcements

1. From the homepage, tap on the profile button in the top right
2. Scroll down to "App Settings" and tap on "Notifications"
3. Tap on the "On" switch and then join any of the groups you want to.

Step 4: Using Messaging

Messaging is a great way for you to interact with a Sunday School class, volunteer group, or leadership group you are a part of.

1. From the homepage, tap on the messaging icon in the top right
2. Tap on "Continue"
3. Under the "Discover Tab" tap on any group that you want to join
4. Tap on "Request to Join"
5. Make sure to do this for all of the groups that you wish to join
6. Once you are approved, you can find the group chat under "Conversations" (Approval usually only takes minutes)

Congratulations! You have now set up the most important features in our app. There are many other features such as Giving, Events, and the in-app Bible that you can explore now!
